On May 30, 2026, the American School of Wrocław community gathered in the beautiful South Park near the Chopin Monument for the annual ASW Family Picnic. Blessed with sunny weather and an exciting program of activities, the event proved to be a tremendous success and a memorable experience for everyone involved. Students, parents, teachers, and friends of the school came together to celebrate the strong bonds that make ASW such a vibrant and welcoming international community. One of the highlights of the day was the International Fashion Show, organized by Mr. Razvi Hussaini and featuring students from preschool through high school. The colorful outfits, creative presentations, and representation of cultures from around the world showcased the diversity and inclusiveness that define our school community. The audience was equally captivated by the magical performance of illusionist Dawid Wilczyński. His interactive show amazed children and adults alike, bringing wonder, laughter, and excitement throughout the performance. The picnic also offered a variety of educational and active experiences. Children enthusiastically participated in a Zumba workshop, enjoying movement, music, and energetic fun. Science experiments attracted many young explorers eager to discover fascinating scientific concepts through hands-on activities. Outdoor games and recreational activities provided endless opportunities for fun, teamwork, and friendship, while a selection of sweet treats added an extra touch of enjoyment to the day. More than just a celebration, the American School of Wrocław Family Picnic reflected the core values of our school: community, diversity, collaboration, and respect. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to connect, build relationships, and enjoy quality time together in a welcoming and inclusive environment. We would like to thank all participants, teachers, and volunteers who helped make this event such a success. We are already looking forward to the next opportunity to come together and celebrate the spirit of the ASW community.
