The American School of Wroclaw (ASW) was founded with one purpose - to build a space for all students to grow, learn and create with each passing day. Through a unique teaching approach and a truly passionate staff, we help students develop academically and personally to the highest level. Our vision is to ensure that our students are fully prepared and looking forward to that next learning step, and to becoming lifelong learners, as well as community and world leaders.
Established in 2011, the American School of Wroclaw is an independent school serving a multicultural student body. We offer an exemplary American Core Knowledge curriculum and the Polish National Education Program with an international perspective for students from Nursery to Grade 8. We are committed to providing educational excellence through a standards-based, internationally enriched American curriculum. Our program places a balanced emphasis on both the Polish and English languages, so as to equip students with bilingual competency. Today, with around 250 students representing more than 20 countries, the American School of Wroclaw is recognized as one of the leading international schools in Wroclaw.
WHAT SETS US APART
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
ASW encourages students to engage in a wide variety of extra curricular activities, including fine arts, athletics, and science & technology-related clubs, which we believe contribute to the development of the whole child.
We provide a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack prepared by our chefs. The menu is designed by a nutritionist who specializes in children's diets.
Our student culture plays a key role in the experience at American School of Wroclaw. We’ve created a safe and accessible environment where students are encouraged to discuss ideas, collaborate on projects, share their work and receive feedback with pride. We give students the foundation to reach their potential and gain confidence both academically and socially.
We invite you to explore our site and discover the academics and community the American School of Wroclaw provides to each and every student. ASW is an independent, co-educational day school serving local and international students and families, including those on temporary assignment, as well as families who make Wroclaw their permanent home.
